It was a very pleasant surprise to find this beautiful campsite at Lovell Canyon where I kept on finding nature's creative expression in it's rugged survival stance, the mix of colors, light and shadows and dramatic forms. These captured my soul with the opportunity to celebrate at the end of the night with a campfire. Campfires had been banned for a couple of months because of the dry air and winds. Recent rain in the area made it possible for the ban to be lifted. I was a very happy camper.
